Abstract
This study aimed to the comprehension skills trends to limitless communication boundaries. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: 1.The profiling of the respondents. 2.What is the level of performance of the respondents based on their first grading grade weight average (G.W.A) in English subject ?. 3.What is the level of comprehension skills of the respondents in terms of the pre-test and post test results? 4. Is there a significance difference between profile versus comprehension skills and profile versus oral communication skills in terms of their pre-test and post-test and the result of the respondents profile? 5. What is the relationship between the profile and the comprehension of grade six learners based on the result of the profile and comprehension skills of the respondents.? 6. What reading worksheets maybe developed and validated?

The researcher applied both descriptive and experirnental methods in conducting this study. Descriptive method is used in describing and narrating the results of the given study as well as the statistical tool and treatment being used in the utilization of the given study. While the experimental method is used to determine the level of pupils oral and comprehension skills in the pre-test and post-test given. It is used in determining the output of the given examinations and the basis of the making the decisions to developed a proposed validated reading worksheet.

The study generated the following findings: From the respondents' profile Table 1.1 reveals that the highest educational attainment of parent's respondents is from Elementary to Bachelors Degree. Majority or 26% of the parents respondents are High School Graduate, second, Bachelors Degree and last are Vocational and Elementary Level. Table 1.2 presents the Economic Status monthly salary of the parents respondents from 5,000 below to 51,000 and above. Highest or 44% of the parents respondents monthly salary are 6,000 to 10,000, second, 11,000-20,000 and lastly are 31,000-40,000,41,000 - 50,000 & 51,000 and above. Table 1.3 shows the Profession of parents respondents are buy & sell to traffic enforcer. Majority or 32% of the profession are drivers next are buy & sell and construction worker, the last number are electrician and traffic enforcer. Table 1.4 reveals the number of siblings from 1-7 above. Mostly or 40% of no. of siblings are from 3-4, next is 1-2 & 5-6, the lastly is from 7 and above. Table 1.5 presents Residence of the family from informal settler to subdivision. Majority or 68% of the residence of the family is informal settler, second, Subdivision and last is remote area. Table 1.6 shows the family structure from nuclear to extended. Mostly or 74% of type of the family is nuclear, and the least is extended family. Table 1.7 reveals the First Grading Average in English Subject 79% below to 100%. Mostly or 52% of the average are 80-84 percent. Second, is from 85-89 % and the last is from 95-100%. Table 2 shows the the first grading grade weight average in English are from 79 below to 94%. Majority or with the 26 frequency of average. Second, is the frequency of 16.Last is 79 below average. Table 3 shows the level of comprehension skills of the respondents from following directions to using card catalog to locate information. The highest mean difference of pre and post test or 24.40 is using ready references. Second, cause and effect lastly are words with multiple meanings & interpreting accent for correct word stress. Table 4 reveals that computed f-value (1.16) is less than the f-critical value (1.39) implying that the null hypothesis is accepted. This finding concludes that there is no significant difference among the Profile of Respondents, the Comprehension Skills and the Oral Communication Skills of the respondents. Based on the foregoing finding, the researcher came up with the following conclusions: 1. Most of the parents respondents are high school graduate. The respondents belongs to lower class. Most of the profession of parents are drivers. Most number of siblings are from 3 to 4. Majority of pupils do not have their own house..Most of the pupils are belongs to nuclear type of family. Majority of pupils got 80-84 % average in English subject in first grading. 2. Majority or 26 is the frequency of the said average. 3. The level of comprehension skills is 24.40. 4. There is no significant difference among the profile of the respondents comprehension skills and Oral communication skills. 5. There is no significant relationship between the profile of the respondent and the comprehension skills of grade six learners. 6. A validated reading worksheet proposed. From the summary of the findings and conclusions given, the following recommendations were formulated:1.Encourage the parents to attend trainings, seminars or even enroll TESDA for their own growth. Give reading materials for children resources, use localized materials in their activities or lesson. Used the library for other resources. Divide their time to their children to assist them in their assignments and lessons. Help them to become resourceful in able to sustain the needs of their studies even they are many in the family. Have a discussion about positive outlook and encourage them to make their homes ready and conducive to learning. Integration of topics about the importance of the family. Give more exercise about oral communication and comprehension skills. 2. Having more drills, exercises, reading habits using dictionary and thesaurus.. 3. Consistency of using ready references such as dictionary, thesaurus, almanac, atlas and other references. 4.Continuity of previous activities for enhancement of oral communication and comprehension skills. 5.Construct reading worksheet for the enhancement of comprehension and oral communication skills of the learners.
