Abstract
This study aimed to determine if the utilization of ICT in teaching Consumer Electronics Servicing would enhance the academic performance of the experimental group of junior high school students in three schools of the Division of Caloocan City, namely; Kalayaan National High School, Bagumbong High School and Tala High School. One section per school with 30 students served as the respondents. The respondents of the study were grade nine students taking the subject, Technology and Livelihood Education with a course area of Consumer Electronics Servicing. The teachers, master teachers and head teachers served as the respondents to determine their perceptions regarding the topics in Consumer Electronics servicing where ICT could be utilized and the challenges encountered in the utilization of ICT in teaching Consumer Electronics Servicing. Their responses were gathered through a survey questionnaire and an interview. This study used simple random method in selecting the sections to be used as subject of the study. This study used a customized research administrative form (RAF) to gather information on the result of the pre-test and post-test mean scores of the respondents. The study also conducted a test of significant difference between the pre-test and post-test.

In line with the data gathered based from the result of the pre-test and post-test through research administrative form (RAF). The study used some statistical tools, namely, the frequency distribution; to tally the mean percentage or students' results of the pre and post-tests examination and responses of the teacher respondents on the challenges encountered in the integration of ICT in teaching Consumer Electronics Servicing and t-test; which was used to determine the significant difference between the pre-test and post-test mean scores of the respondents.

The study generated the following findings: 1) The topics in Consumer Electronic Servicing where ICT could be utilized were Multitester with its parts. Types of Rectifier circuits and AC-DC Power supply, 2) The ICT tools that could be utilized in teaching Consumer Electronics Servicing were software programs, laptop, data projector, desktop and mobile phones, 3) The posttest score of the respondents was higher than the pretest scores in the three selected schools, 4) There was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores of the respondents in the three selected schools, 5) The challenges encountered by the respondents in the use of ICT which were rated as "high" were: availability of upgraded tools and equipment, availability of facilities and allotted time of preparation in teaching with ICT integration, 6) A module was deemed important to develop based on the findings of the study, hence, was proposed in this study.

On the basis of the findings and conclusions drawn, the following recommendations are offered: 1) More topics in Consumer Electronics Servicing should utilize ICT tools, 2) Information and Communication Technology Tools should be utilized to teach a course subject under Technology and livelihood Education as well as other subjects, 3) In teaching the lesson, evaluation could be given before and after the discussion or presentation of the topic, 4) The lesson should be delivered in a more interactive way through the use of ICT. With the utilization of ICT students can easily understand the lesson. Student's academic performance can be seen more clearly and effectively. 5) Teachers could be an agent of change where the utilization of ICT may be used as one way of teaching. This will help them manage the time of preparation and able to cope with technicalities in teaching with the integration of ICT even without the help of experts, 6) The school should conduct regular training, workshop or seminars for the teachers to be inclined with the use of ICT in teaching, 7) Teachers should use the module as one of their reference learning materials. They can provide easy and interactive way of presenting the discussion. Included in the module could be semi-detailed lesson plan and software programs through the use of MS- PowerPoint or other applications may be used in the presentation of the lesson in Consumer Electronics Servicing even with other subjects.
