Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the perceptions

of the pupils, master teachers and principale on the performance of Master Teachers in the six public elementary schools in the district of Tanque. Divison of Caloocan. Caloocan City.

Specifically, the study sought answers to the following

specific questions: 1. What is the profile of the respondent-Master

Teachers in terms of:

a. age

b. sex

c. civil status

d. educational attainment

e. number of years in teaching I. relevant training

2. What is the status of the Master Teachers performance relative to the following areas/dimensions:

& mastery of the subject matter

b. instructional presentation

a punctuality and attendance

d. relationship with students

e. evaluation of learning

f. classroom management

g. class discipline

J. Is there a significant difference in the perceptions of the principals/supervisors, teachers, and pupils as to the performance and competencies of the Master Teachers?

4. What are the implications of the findings of the study to supervision?

The study employed the descriptive-survey method of research. The questionnaire-checklist was used as the main instrument for gathering data. The questionnaire drew out responses from the three groups of respondents on their perceptions of the teaching performance of Master Teachers.

The schools involved in this study were the six public elementary schools in the district of Tanque. Division of Caloocan, namely: Bagong Barrio Elementary School, Morning Breeze Elementary School. Sta. Quiteria Elementary School, Baess Elementary School, East Bagong Barrio Elementary School and Talipapa Elementary School. The respondents of the study were 100 grade VI pupils. 23 master teachers, six principals and one supervisor of the aforementioned schools/division. The hypothesis tested in this study was: There is no significant difference in the perception of the pupils and master teachers, principals and master teachers and pupils and principals as regards the teaching performance of the master teachers.
The statistical techniques employed were frequencycount, weighted mean and t-test of significant difference between two means.
