Abstract
The main objective of this study is to develop and evaluate Science and Technology IV Kit for fourth year students at Pangarap High School, Division of Caloocan City during the school year 2002-2003.
Specifically, this study attempted to:
1. design and improvise science and technology IV apparatus;
2. develop activities for each of the constructed apparatus; and
3. evaluate the developed science and technology IV kit.
This study used the descriptive method of research with the questionnaire as the main instrument used in gathering data. The study was divided into three phases, namely: Phase I involves the development of the improvides apparatus, Phase II involves the development of the learning activities using the improvised apparatus and Phase III the evaluation of the kit by 16 physics teachers.
The findings of the study are as follows:
1. The teachers strongly agree on six criteria and agree on three criteria on the improvised apparatus.
2. The teachers strongly agree on eight criteria and agree on the five criteria of the learning activities.
