Abstract
This study focused on utilization of Pop-up books for receptive and expressive skills development of kindergarten pupils, a teaching strategy to develop the receptive and expressive skills of kindergarten learners in public schools specially in Bagumbong Elementary School Main, was devised by the researcher in his own classroom in January, where pupils were having difficulty in acquiring the skills development in receptive and expressive This aimed to be beneficial to kindergarten pupils and teachers who were the main subjects. School administrators and the Department of Education could also get a learning innovation that they could possibly implement on a wider scale. Parents of kindergarten pupils could also benefit from this study as they would get to know better how basic learning works This study was deliminated to researcher's two sections, 60 kindergarten students was selected from Bagumbong Elementary School in Based on the data gathered after experimenting the two sections, it was found out that all of the pupil-respondents were able to develop their skills in both receptive and expressive domain. There were just a few topics that needed to work out through to develop more by the used of pop-up Therefore, the study recommended the continuous use of pop-up books as a mode of instruction for kindergarten pupils and introduced it to schools that have not used this strategy yet. The researcher highly recommended that the instruction be more attuned to what the children who were actually enrolled really need and want to learn. Thus, the need to develop a skills assessment system prior to instruction.
