Abstract
This study aims to determine the learning styles of the grade four pupils in selected elementary school basis of prototype lesson plan. This study will answer to the following questions. What are the observable learning styles of pupils in terms of visual, aural, reading and writing, and kinesthetic How do the English teacher-respondents prepare lesson plans in teaching Grade Four? What difficulties encountered by teachers in addressing in the different learning styles? What sample prototype lesson plans may be developed based on the findings of the study? This study employed a quantitative research method to describe, identify and explore the phenomenon in the study. The quantitative research method was used to describe the observable learning styles of pupils. The study was conducted to the Grade 4 pupils in selected elementary school in North III District. It involved also English teachers in Grade 4. Random sampling technique was used to determine the respondents of the For the quantitative aspect, survey sheet and questionnaire was used. It elicited the learning styles of pupils as observed by teacher-respondents of the study.
