study along with the administrators or implementers of the program. An interview with the implementers of the program was also conducted to gather data on the past and present status of the implementation of the school feeding program. The result of the study was tallied, tabulated and statistically treated using weighted mean, frequency chart and percentage.

The study generated the following findings: 1) Mechanics of the feeding program in the School Year 2011-2014 is that first, schools provided allocation for the SBFP from canteen proceeds. Then, each school formed an SBFP Core Group for the implementation of the program and a designated feeding area for each school was established. Afterwards, schools identify pupils from kinder to grade six who are malnourished by measuring the body mass index (BMI) of the pupils. Pupils were determined as to their nutritional status namely; (a) Normal, (b) Wasted, (c) Severely Wasted, (d) Overweight and (e) Obese. Pupils who were categorized under the nutritional status of "severely wasted" and "wasted" were taken in as SBFP beneficiaries. The school feeding coordinator and designated staff then monitored and evaluated the SBFP beneficiaries' weight during the feeding program to determine if the students have achieved their ideal nutritional status. Foods that were given to the beneficiaries included hot meals such as rice and a viand and also fruits and vegetables following the menu course made by DepEd. Then the school head or principal monitored The following recommendations are hereby proposed based on the chieved results: 1) The previous mechanics of the feeding program should e continued since it has resulted to improved nutritional status of the beneficiaries; 2) The observed effects of the previous feeding program should be considered by the SBFP Core Group in planning any feeding program in schools; 3) The aspects of the feeding program not fully implemented should be given considerable attention by the implementers of the program for improvement purposes; 4) The budget allocation for the feeding program should be properly monitored by the Regional Office of DepEd; 5) The feeding program should be extended to the potential malnourished school children categorized as "wasted" to save them from malnourishment; 6) The parents should be encouraged to participate and assist during the feeding program; 7) A similar study should be conducted in other schools to determine if the feeding program is properly implemented and The proposed action plan should be implemented.
