Abstract
This study aimed to assess the level of emergency preparedness among
the public schools in the Schools Division Office of Caloocan City.
Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:
b. Years in Service
c. Trainings attended on Disaster Preparedness
2. How may the respondents' assessment on the level of emergency
preparedness of Public Secondary schools be described in terms of:
2.1 Preparation of the Disaster Risk Reduction Plan;
2.2 Organization of the Risk Reduction Group;
2.3 Implementation of the Disaster Risk Reduction measures;
2.4 Risk Reduction; and
2.5 Resilience Education.
3. How significant is the difference that exists in the Respondents' assessment of School Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Program as perceived by the stakeholders?
4. What are the challenges faced by the respondents in the School
Disaster Preparedness and Risk Reduction Management Program in
terms of:
a.)Problems encountered
b.)Solutions made
5. How can this study be utilized in proposing an enhanced School Disaster and Risk Reduction Management in the Schools Division Office - Caloocan City?
