Abstract
The present study is important because it could contribute to effective hair science teaching. It would help the administrators, teachers and department heads in the teaching learning process. This is device because instead of writing a time saving the procedures and diagrams on the board, the teachers can devote more time in other aspects of the instruction.

The study was limited to the validation of the Instructional module in teaching hair science in the Division of City Schools Caloocan City. There were three groups of respondents who evaluated the modules. Out of 79 respondents, 61 were teachers, department heads. administrators and 9

The descriptive method of research was used in this study using the questionnaire an the main instrument to gather the data and determine the acceptability of the module.

To arrive at the findings of the study, the data were statistically treated using frequency count, percentages, weighted mean, ANOVA, and Likert Scale to assess the developed module in teaching hair science, and the t-test to determine the significant difference on the aforecited criteria. Specifically, this study sought to answer the following sub-problems:

1. What is the profile of non-formal class in hair science as to age, gender, civil status and highest educational attainment?

2. What proposed module maybe developed? 3. How do the school administrators, teachers and
department heads assess the developed module in hair science in terms of; 3.1 objectives

3.4 language and style

3.5 organization

4. Are there significant difference in the assessment of the three groups of respondents with respect to the aforecited criteria?

The study revealed the following findings:

1. In terms of age, most of the respondents are within the age bracket 36-45.

2. Majority of the respondents, 78 or 98.73 percent

are females.

3. In terms of civil status, majority of the respondents, 69 or 87.34 percent are married administrators, teachers and department heads.

4. Majority of the respondents, 37 or 46.84 percent graduates of teacher courses as are
education BSE, BSED, BEED.

5. Majority of the teachers are Bachelors degree holders. Only 8 or 10.13 percent are doctoral degree holder: 4 or 5.06 percent with doctoral units: 12 or 15.19 percent are MA graduates: and 18 or 22.78 with MA units, Assessment on the Validation of the proposed module in

hair science:

1. Objective. The 3 groups of respondents agreed in all the lessons stated in the module. 2. Content. Also the 3 groups of respondents agreed

on the content of the module in hair science.

3. Presentation. Under the method of presentation the said respondents rated agreed. 4. Language and Style. Under the Language and Style

used in the module has considered agree

5. Organization. This means that the five variable stated agree in the module were considered acceptable by the administrator, department heads, and teachers.

The school administrator and department heads assess the developed module in Hair Science as agree in the following criteria: objectives, content, method of presentation, language and style, organization. This was supported by the obtained overall mean scores of 4.26.
