Abstract
Collaboration and Participation are key terms to accomplish a complex undertaking. In education, everyone needs to be involved to obtain full support from the school community. The realization of DepEd's Mission and Vision could easily be carried out if stakeholders collaborate and participate in achieving the goals of the Department of Education.

This study assessed the level of collaboration and participation of both the internal and external stakeholders in Brigada Eskwela, Drop-Out Reduction Program, Early Registration, Gender and Development and School-Based Feeding Program. Using a survey questionnaire, the researcher, measured this construct in order to ascertain the level of collaboration and participation of these stakeholders.

The results revealed that school heads/principals, focal persons/teachers in charge of the programs, parents and barangay officials had varying levels of collaboration and participation in the implementation of DepEd programs. Internal stakeholders had higher rating compared to external stakeholders as far as Drop-Out Reduction and Gender and Development Programs were concerned.

Generally, the limitation of involvement of parents and barangay officials in DepEd projects boiled down to their naivety about the projects. It is, therefore recommended that intensified advocacy about DORP and GAD should be done in the community. School heads and focal persons should meet the stakeholders and explain to them the specifics of the projects and the would be roles and responsibilities of each one before these programs started.
