Abstract
Work-life balance is a concept that describes the ideal of splitting one's time and energy between work and other important aspects of their life.

Achieving work-life balance is a daily challenge. It can be tough to make time for family, friends, community participation, spirituality, personal growth, self-care, and other personal activities, in addition to the demands of the workplace.

The main purpose of the study is to assessed work-life balance of primary teachers in A. Mabini and Tala Elementary School in terms of efficiency at work and school commitment. Also it aimed to identify the relationship between the demographic profile of the respondents and the factors that affect work-life balance and their significant difference when grouped according to schools. The participants of the study consisted of 79 primary teachers in Caloocan North III.

This research employed descriptive design. It refers to a study designed to depict the participants in an accurate way. In this study, descriptive evaluative and descriptive comparative designs will be used to summarize the assessment of the respondent.

The survey questionnaire by the researcher is use to identify the status of their work-life balance skills. The teachers will confidently answer the research instruments with honest intentions. According to Adanza (2011), this design is concerned with describing the characteristics and properties of a group of persons, places or things which involves gathering, organizing. presenting and describing data. The study generated the following findings. There are more married, female young teachers in the primary grades that could cater the needs of their learners. Efficiency at work and school commitment manifest that despite of too many roles of the teacher- respondents, they are still capable of accomplishing their tasks even before the deadline and they have so much respect in listening to their superiors and colleagues. Profile of teacher-respondents has significant relationship to their efficiency at work and school commitment in performing their respective tasks.

Based on the findings the following conclusions were drawn: Respondents are in their middle years of their career, female respondents outnumbered male respondents, most of the respondents are married and they have 1 to 2 number of dependents and most of them have spent 3 to 6 years in service with bachelors degree. Teacher respondents time management practices, especially work time and work flexibility contribute to increase work-life balance. Personal life of a teacher may affect his/ her work- life. And employee engagement and healthy working environment affect work- life balance of teachers in every schools.
