Abstract
Science allows students to explore their world and discover new things. (Das, Amrita, Singh, 2014)

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Electronic-Strategic Intervention Material in Science VI remediating poor performance in Science. E-SIM is once known in Philippine Education as the Strategic Intervention Material such as reteaching the concepts or topics which were considered least mastered skill by the pupils. In this study, the least mastered skillrevealed from the Diagnostic Test result School Year 2018-2019 that was used is "Describe the planets and its characteristics". The Electronic-Strategic Intervention Material is entitled: "Zekee and Butchoy's Planet Hopping Adventure" which was validated and evaluated by the experts of Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School with the use of LRMDS tool. They strongly agreed that the material used in this study was suited to the interests of the respondents. The intervention material contained 5 main parts: the guide card, activity card, assessment card, enrichment card and reference card. The E-SIM gave the students opportunity to use the computer in exploring new ideas and concepts with the use of various activities,

After the pretest and posttest were conducted, results were collected, computed and analyzed to determine if there were indicators of change. It was evident that there was an improvement between the pretest and posttest scores of the students. Through the use of qualitative analysis, the intervention material was proven highly effective in improving the learning skills of the students.

If all teachers will become accustomedwith the advocacy of the Department of Education tohave holistically and globally competitive students; all students will be able to perform well in school and enhance their academic achievements.
