Poor academic achievement in Science is one of the major problems in today's education. In view of this, the need for an intervention is necessary in order to improve pupils' performance and to make them functionally literate and productive in Science. Hence, developing learning materials that can remedy pupils' poor academic performance in Science is very important. One of these learning materials that can be developed is the Strategic Intervention Materials. The school where the researcher teaches is not exempted from the problem of poor academic performance in science, hence, the researcher thought of developing strategic intervention mater8ialsn to enhance the pupils' learning in science.
