Abstract
This study explored the descriptive and one-group experimental
method of research and attempted to investigate the effectiveness of
developed strategic intervention material in science on the performance of
pupils in grade four level.
It utilized the pre-test and post-test pre-experimental design. The
Digitized Strategic Intervention Material in Science used a treatment of the
study covered one of the least mastered topic in science four which is the
parts and functions of the digestive system. Three sections of 134 pupils
enrolled in grade four level for school year 2017-2018 were used as
respondents.
The least mastered topic was identified through the Educational
Management Information System (EMIS) records for school year 2016-
2017.
T-Test were employed to 'determine the significant difference
between the pre-test and post-test mean scores of pupil respondents.
Based on the comparison of the pre-test and post-test mean scores,
the peformance of the pupils has improved after using the Digitized
