Moreover, the relationship of the level of awareness and preparedness of the two groups of respondents were interpreted to have a very high correlation. This means that being aware will relatively results to being prepared in times of disaster. Thus, there is no significant difference on the assessment of two groups of respondents in terms of awareness and preparedness. Furthermore, the study found that a need of capacity building training program should be developed to improve the knowledge that the respondents In collaboration of the school and parents or even stakeholders, being aware and prepared can fight growth losses of life and damage to property. this will also be the simplest yet helpful way to be resilient in times of disaster. Each of the respondents will play a vital role in addressing the problems in disaster management especially in relation to preparedness, adaptation and mitigation.
