Abstract
The purpose of this research was to gather information and Intervention on the plausible causes of misbehaviour among pupils in Sampaguita Elementary School. It also designed an intervention program to mitigate the problem.

The respondents of this research were thirty three misbehaved pupils of Sampaguita Elementary School who were identified by their subject teachers, class advisers and the guidance counsellor. This study is a descriptive research which gathered data in order to describe the factors associated with pupils' misbehaviour. The Questionnaire was constructed, prepared and validated by the researcher for the purpose of gathering information on the respondents profile which was subjected to reliability testing. Quantitative method was used in the analysis and interpretation of data gathered. In this particular research, the researcher designed a program to help the participants minimize their disruptive behaviour. The Summary of Findings were: 1.) More pupils who misbehaved were in the age of 12 years old. 2). Grades 2, 3 and 5 had more number of misbehaviour, 3). Sixty-three percent (63%) of the respondents had 3, 4, 5 and 8 siblings while the other thirty-seven (37%) had 1,2,6,7 siblings. 4). Low emotional and financial stability and broken family had a moderate extent of influence on pupils' misbehaviour.5) In terms of school factors, assignments/projects, bullying, and teacher's personality had great extent of influence on pupils' misbehaviour.

After identifying the causes of misbehaviours that affect pupils' lives, the following are recommended: 1. Teachers must help strengthen and develop the pupils' emotional stability by giving trust, love and confidence to children. 2. Pupils must be given full support from parents/guardians through love, care, and understanding to build their self-esteem and develop their total personality. 3. Children of school age must be sent by parents to school to avoid over-aged pupils in the grade level which sometimes lead to misbehaviour. 4. Children's' Rights must be respected. Teachers must abide by their Code of Ethics. 5. Parents should be advocates of home solidarity; they should give a great concern to their children in providing them basic needs; and assist them in school activities as well, and 6. The administrators may provide motivation and strengthen their teachers' as well as theim parents' love their children by giving programs at least twice a year.
