Abstract
The study made use of the descriptive method of research. The primary tool used to gather the data needed in the study was the questionnaire-checklist which consisted of two parts-the profile of the teachers respondents and the teaching performance of the hekasi teachers in terms of lesson planning, lesson presentation,evaluation,assignment giving, classroom management, classroom discipline and punctuality and attendance.
The questionnaire was fielded to 50 HEKASI teachers and 120 pupils randomly selected from four public elementary schools in Tanque District, Caloocan city namely: Morning breeze Elementary school, East Bagong Barrio Elementary School, Talipapa Elementary Schools and Sta. Quiteria Elementary School
