Abstract
This study was undertaken to appreciate the physical education instructions of teachers in Public Secondary Schools in Bukid Area of Caloocan. Specifically, it sought to appraise the following: classroom management; teaching methods and techniques; planning of instruction and materials; adequacy of facilities, equipment and supplies; and other problems encountered by the physical education teachers.
The descriptive survey method was utilized, with the rating scale questionnaire as the main tool in gathering data. Unstructured interview, ocular survey and documentary analysis were also conducted to acquire such data.
This study seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What is the profile of physical educators in the secondary level?
2. How efficiently do the teachers manage their classroom management in physical education?
3. How do they make their teaching methods and techniques in physical education instruction effective.
4. How do the physical education teachers develop their instructional materials for teaching physical education?
5. How sufficient are the facilities,equipment,materials and supplies used in physical education instructions?
6. What other problems have the physical education teachers encountered in the teaching of physical eduation?
