Abstract
Girl scouting is the action plan covering the whole girl scouting environment fun, adventure and challenges where girls working alone or in small groups live the scout promise in a democratic framework and develop themselves in self-reliance, self-esteem and service with the guidance of able and caring adults. The study aimed to identify the values internalization in scouting activities among the grade three pupils. The study furthermore seeks to answered the scouting activities as perceived by the scouters based on: investitures, celebration of Escoda, camping, skills training, school programs. The values internalized among the pupil respondents as perceived by the parents, teachers and scouters in terms of Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly. Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty. Brave, Clean, and Reverent. Surveys were administered to parents, teachers and pupils respondents. The descriptive method is design to gather information about the present condition. It involves collection of data or to answer question concerning the current status of the study. The researcher used the questionnaire in gathering the necessary data and information needed in the study. The problems encountered by the scouters in scouting activities may be proposed to enhance the internalization of scout values. The conflicts encountered by the scouters are Personality conflict like too proud being a leader a group or top (1) followed by Lack of skills trainings (2), Conflict in schedule (3), A troop leader does not offer any kind of support (4), rank (5) lack of financial support/commitment by the parent and the rank (6), Lack of control in spending. It concludes that if the Values internalization among pupils' scouters as perceived by the parents and teachers has the following considerations: The highest weighted values were internalized, the top three values in table 2.1 is being friendly got 4.55 rank 1, courteous got 4.43 rank 2, and rank 3 is being cheerful got 4.41. In table 2.2 the top three values is being helpful got 4.50 rank 1, trustworthy got 4.45 rank 2 and being kind got 4.35 rank 3. The table 2.3 top three values are being bravery got 4.57 rank 1, clean got 4.55 rank 2 and friendly got 4.47 rank 3 respectively and indicated as Scouters have enthusiasm of helping hand, friendly and helpful they must practice good deeds of being friendly. They are obliged for the internalization of those heroic deeds; give more familiarization and knowledge enhancement. In camping students are involve for growth, explore and guidance. They are more exposed to different camping, skills training and school program needs to be improved. Scouters not forget to attend academic classes yet; they find time for academics and self-study for the left lessons. In values internalization pupils are guided by parents and teachers at all time focus more on good manners teach pupils more on values education internalization.
