This study was an attempt to determine the level of applications of Mathematics and Science concepts to Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) instruction in Bagong Barrio National High School as a basis for teacher and student development during the school year 2006-2007.

There were two (2) groups of respondents: 1.) eleven (11) TLE teachers and 2.) sixty (60) students. This was conducted at BBNHS, Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City.

The level of applications of Mathematics and Science concepts to TLE instruction as the dependent variables in this study included four (4) major areas such as 1.) Home Economics; 2.) Industrial Arts; 3.) Agriculture and Fishery Arts, and 4.) Computers and Entrepreneurship.

The TLE teacher - related factors as the independent variables considered in this study were: 1.) awareness of Mathematics and Science competencies applicable to TLE and 2.) attitude towards Mathematics and Science concepts.

The questionnaire was the instrument used in gathering data. For descriptive presentation of dependent and independent variables, mean was utilized. To find out the level of applications of Mathematics and Science concepts to TLE instruction, mean and standard deviation were utilized. To find out if the independent variables predicted the dependent variables regression analysis was used.
