Over the past few decades, information and communications technology (ICT) has become gradually more important to schools than ever. There are wide range of research that exists that explore and study the use of ICT in the process of learning and teaching in public elementary schools. The use of ICT in teaching and learning has been acknowledged to have greater benefits and positive impact on the quality of education. Of late countries are investigating ways to integrate ICT in their education systems. This study contains findings established from gathering input from teachers who evaluated their use of ICT in of support instruction. Furthermore, the study encourages, teachers to highlight the challengers that hinder the use of technology to support their teaching. This study examines the availability and utilization, the benefits and challengers of ICT equipments in teaching the MAPEH in Camarin D Elementary School.
More specifically, the study has looked into lessons or topics in MAPEH where the use of ICT is deemed more practical and most beneficial to the learners. Consequently, a set of prototype lesson plans that illustrate the use of ict in Mapeh lessons is the final output of the study.
